Narrow leaf java has all the same benefits as the standard java fern in a long, slender package. Java ferns are epiphytic plants, meaning they grow from a rhizome that should not be buried in the soil. These plants are best to attach directly to hardscape.
Java ferns reproduce by growing small plantlets at the ends of each leaf. You can propagate the plant easily by gently removing these plantlets by hand, or by dividing the rhizome itself.
