Crypt Retrospiralis is a unique variety of crypt that sports long, grasslike ruffly leaves that can range in color from light green to a coppery-red hue. It's height potential makes it a great background plant, especially for beginners.
These crypts are best when grown in a nutrient rich substrate, although they can still be kept in inert substrate if they are supplemented with root tabs. Brighter lighting can help to bring out the more red hues. Once established, try not to relocate your crypt often, as this can cause the leaves to melt.
